We Believe…

We believe that all scripture (Old and New Testaments) are inerrant and inspired by God.

We Believe in one God in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We Believe that God the Son became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ and was born of a virgin -true God and true man.

Man was created in God’s image, but sin brought both physical and spiritual death to the entire human race. All humans are born with and live according to that sinful nature, and are absolutely sinful apart from divine grace

We believe Christ died for our sins and a penal substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous on the basis of his shed blood.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there for us as our high priest, intercessor, and advocate.

We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ in the glory of The Father.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, possessing all of the distinct attributes of God.  His function within the Godhead is to convict the world of sin, baptize believers into the body of Christ, indwell the believer at regeneration and seal them as a child of God.

We believe that man was created in the image of God and that he sinned resulting in physical and spiritual death.  This condition has been passed from first man.

We believe all who repent and trust in Jesus Christ alone as Lord and Savior are, by the grace of God, declared to be right with him, receiving forgiveness and eternal life.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who imparts new life to those who believe in Christ. Through his indwelling presence and transforming power he gives assurance and equips believers for holy living and effective service.

We believe all people will rise from the dead — those who are in Christ to enjoy eternal life with God and those who are lost to suffer judgement and eternal separation from him.

We believe in the reality of the person of Satan.  Christians can overcome Satan’s schemes by applying scriptural truth.
