Trauma Healing Group

What is a Trauma Healing Group?

Painful experiences become an obstacle that keeps us from connecting with God, engaging with scripture, and being who we were created to be.

The method is simple:

  • It brings a group of people together in a safe place, where they can help each other heal.

  • This group is led by trained facilitators using a proven curriculum provided by the Trauma Healing Institute.

  • The lessons in the curriculum use art, stories, activities and discussion questions to help people engage deeply with themselves, with God, and with each other.

This Healing Group will help people with heart wounds find healing, engage with the God of Scripture, and become more resilient. Participants will be heard, learn to express, and process their pain as they also learn to help others around them as they heal. The module we use is from the Trauma Healing Institute.

Who should attend?

People suffering from Post Traumatic Stress, Depression, those carrying unprocessed Grief, loss or Emotional Pain. Those who participate must be committed to the healing process and will need to attend every session.

Sessions

5:30pm -9:30 pm Thursday and Friday

Saturday from 9:00 AM-2PM.

Dinner will be served promptly at 5:30. Lunch is served on Saturday. The cost is free (donations toward meals would be helpful).

Where?

This is a network of facilitators using the Trauma Healing Institute Model and materials who gather for networking, collaboration, professional development, encouragement, and prayer. This is an in-person gathering. You are welcome. We will have dinner available
